Africa Day took place in Amsterdam on the 14th of April 2018. Max Koffi, director of Africa In Motion, participated in a panel, together with Moses Isooba (Head of Operations Africans Rising) and Fatumo Farah (HIRDA). They spoke about the added value of African diaspora especially for development purposes in African countries.
Max Koffi spoke about the need for a peaceful transition without violence for a united Africa. He also underlined the importance of collaboration with local partners in African countries, like
the organization Africans Rising.
Africa Day is organized by the Foundation for European Progressive Studies (FEPS) and the Foundation Max van der Stoel (FMS). The event is organized every year and is attended by more than 1.200 visitors.
